I was just about to post that Yehh thats the first video ive done using your 'Teamwork' method...result was pretty good, but its only 480x360 so it doesnt look that good in full screen and for some reason the real duration didnt show
Also I was wondering how is the thumbnail determined using this method? as it seems like it just picks a random point in the video?

Vegas + VmuTube + FLV Reader = doesn't work for me... tried 5 times

I'll try combining the FLV Reader output with a default file

LoL. I hate it now that YouTube changed the "My Videos" page to a new default one. (Formerly www.youtube.com/my_videos2)

I meant to copy my video! LoL! It copied my videos page instead. HAHAHA

No it doesn't. It gets the thumbnail at precise points, always around the first duration on batch 1 to 8 and around 2:45 when using batch 9 and 9a. Think in ratios.

  9. Currently, the "TeamWork" method is working very well. Video is HQ, has proper thumbnail and right duration (and of course - stereo sound). I congratulate the people who made this tool and sharing it with us!
I recommend "TeamWork" for everyone who wants his videos to stay in HQ in YouTube.

But some how I tried to upload the still video (pic + music) early today but some how youtube doesn't let me view it, which mean the video are still there but I cannot view it, even tho i already have uploaded the video but it seem youtube is not accepting my video, i wonder is it that youtube will remove or will reject any still image video (muisc+pic) so can you guy confirm this plz

I've gotten one 30 second clip to work using SpartaComp's tool.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InXx5wFT39o

But all thumbnails are Black >_>
    ----------------------

I usually use Xvid4PSP which has toms of encoding options for many formats - including FLV1.

Can I just merge the "Default.flv" with "VideoEncodedWithXvid4PSP.flv" and do the 9 cell HEX edit? Or am I missing additional HEX editing, because in your .bat there is a bunch of HEX edit stuff at the bottom.

I was just curious because your tool does its own encoding in its own parameters (corrct me if im wrong) and one of my videos started to get many blocky artifacts. Is it possible to increase bitrate a bit more? (however Quality is still FAR better from uTube HQ encode)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtkBC0orOpU

Thumbnail selection is somewhat glitched, with a giant green artifact at the bottom.

    Hi,

I understand that the Teamwork method is only valid for videos up to four minutes long. I have a nine minute flv video that I made, using ffmpeg and generally following the settings on the first page of this thread, which I remembered from the days before Youtube closed down the hacks. I want to upload this as the high quality flv file that I've created (220kbps - audio with still image in background), no time hacks needed, but Youtube is converting it to low quality.

Reading the first page again, it says that the time hack is obsolete, but the high quality settings should be kept if the file is uploaded in the correct format. I'm using the same format that I used about a year ago when I used to upload straight HQ flv's, or time hexed flv's, so I know that the format is fine.

I've already read much of this thread, but I'm unsure whether there is any hack that still works for videos of longer duration. Hopefully someone can clarify this.

    Thanks

Make it a 35 second clip and use bat file 01 and there will be a nice thumbnail.

That's because you haven't used the right default.flv

pn0yb0i, again, send me a PM if you have any questions. Don't put it on the public board. If that happens again I will not answer anymore. Yes, you did something wrong. You should have used bat 01.
Then you get results like this: http://youtube.com/user/LaisjaHein
