    i am running win xp and virtual dub 1.3c and i have installed the smr patch. my problem is when i try and save a wav file it saves it as an unrecognizable file extention and therefore i cant load the asf it in tmpgenc. when i was running virtualdub 1.4.8 it would save it as a recognizable file extension and i could load it in tmpgenc. Can someone give me some advice on what to try?

    ..uuhm.... why would you use 1.3....??? i say: stick with the new version
    as long as my boss thinks i make a lot of money, i will pretend to work hard ;)

    because with the new version you cant convert asf files in virtualdub. if you try it tells you that microsoft owns the patent and that feautre has been disabled.
