    can you advice me software, that can receive live video from TV tuner and stream it via Ethernet.in Transport Stream format.
    I'm looking for opensource software for Linux.

    I try to do it with VLC

    I use folowing command:
    vlc v4l:/dev/video0:norm=0:frequency=631250ize=300x200:channel=2:adev=/dev/dsp1:audio=0:caching=300 \
    --sout '#transcode{vcodec=mp2v,vb=3072,scale=1,acodec=mpg a,ab=128,channels=1}:duplicate{dst=std{access=udp, mux=ts,dst=225.10.10.10:5001}}' --ttl 12

    ... and get bad rezult, I see a lot of tiles and the sound sometimes drowning, a lot of artifacts when a picture is very dynamic
    I had tryed to change some encoding options and change low bitrate, but I still got same bad rezult
