Problem converting .MKV file

I downloaded a .MKV file and want to convert it onto DVD.

When i add it as an asset , the preview only plays sound, there is no video....?

How can i get the video to work?

Has anyone successfully converted MKV files with SVCD2DVD???

Should convert no problems.... To VIEW it in the preview - you need to be able to view it in WMP. Typlically you need a splitter and a h264 codec to do that. ffdshow will resolve this (one of many).... If you are not bothered about a preview - just convert as normal.
