    Is it possible to rip a HD DVD disc ( HD DVD MOVIE ) to Hard Disc having only a DVD Drive ( instead of a HD DVD Drive ) and using DVDFAB HD DECRYPTER and then to record a DVD Disc.

    No. HD DVD (and Blu-Ray) use completely different lasers and cannot be read by a standard DVD drive.

    That's why you would be wiser to stay with SDVD and not go with this until it is settled. There are work-arounds, but they are time consuming and not worth the effort, unless , off course , you like those things.

    No ... but the xbox hd-dvd drive is cheap , then you should be set .

    I think here , the drive is under $180.00au ... was thinking of grabbing one ... for my xbox360 .

    I also thought play back on pc requires powerdvd 6 or higher ... the Japanese version though .
