Hi,
Is there a way to make the sound of this sample better:
http://www.a3an.be/jelle/high.mp3
It sounds like the treble or something is a lil to high and that sounds bad on some places!
Thanx!!

there are lots of things you can do. fix the source by using an audio editor and reduce the high freq or lower the gain or add a filter.. or just lower the treb on the tv. cd player ,stereo etc.

what program you think is good for it?
can't get it nice with sound forge! -
You'll want to use de-essing to remove this:
ess.mp3
Does soundforge have a de-esser built in? If not, you can download this VST plugin:

i downloaded the spitfish de-esser but can't get the same settings as you to remove that.
do you also use the spitfish?
i still have more low voice and can't get only the high
but i'm on my way! 8) -
1) Start by pressing the listen button :
2) Dial in the frequency where the "ssssss" sounds come from
3) Turn off the listen button to hear the de-essing applied to the audio.
4) Most of your high frequency noise is around the 5-7K mark
