I ripped a movie using Mac the Ripper software. Saved it to my Video_TS Folder on my hard drive. Opened Popcorn 3, selected Video_TS Folders, located my movie, click Choose, and got the message "The contents of this folder cannot be compresed" I clicked OK and the next meesage I got was "This is not a valid Video_TS folder it cannot be selected".

Any ideas on what I did wrong?? I follwed the Mac the Ripper instructions to the T so I thought. Thank you for your suggestions. I am on an iMac 2.14ghz 2gg of ram. Cheers,

"my Video_TS Folder" - did you create this folder or did MtR?

What, exactly, are the contents of that folder? (A list of the files would be helpful.)

Popcorn requires a full disc extraction. Otherwise it becomes disagreeable if it can't find things that the IFO says should be there. Also, be certain you added the VIDEO_TS folder itself and not the folder that MTR creates which contains the VIDEO_TS.

    Hi,

Thank you for the suggestions! Sorry it has taken a few days to reply have been away. I'll try what you suggested and let you know how I made out. I did let MTR create the Video_TS folder for me AND I only tried to extract the feature presentation npt the whole movie. I'll give this a go and let you know how I make out. Thanks again!

    Cheers,
