I have 4gb (50x) Kingston SD card. I tried to copy full dvd movie (video TS, with menus) onto a card. I can see that all files are on it (I picked 3,67GB movie to try), but when I try to play it (via card reader on my PC or standalone dvd player), movie goes only up to chapter 3 or 4 and then freezes. Also, I can't go directly to e.g. chapter 3 and onwards - only first two chapters and that's it. Does anyone knows what is the problem? I have more than 10 4GB SD cards and I would like to put some movies on it. Can I skip transfering to other formats and watch full authored dvd from my cards? Is the card too slow? Is there a special copying software that I need? Pls help. Thank you all.

Try formatting the card first...then load the movie?
I need to defragment my USB stick quite often or it
    slows down dramatically.

I did that already, nothing happened. So you think it's a speed issue?

  5. Try formatting your card to NTFS not FAt32.. You may be hitting the 2gb barrier.
( Note NTFS format is probably incompatible with any Digital camera you use.. )
Actually NTFS is probably incompatible with your DVD player.
How you copy the files is important... FAT32 can have no single file larger than 2gb (eg a DVD iso image) but a Set of vobs all of less than 1gb will be ok.
Try reading all the files back off the stick onto your PC..?

Some cards are just a bit bleh
