  1. hi im trying to rip the DVD dogma, and eventualy burn it into a vcd..but ive got problems from the get go...when i put the dvd in , open smart ripper, an error box comes up, and says project out of bounds...i assume its because of the huge amount of extra special features and all that jazz. Is there any way around this?
a second question if anybody knows it off their head...when i try to rip, convert, encode the phantom menace, it doesnt have any sort of subtiltes...i just want the original subtitles, yknow the subs for the aliens and such.where are they???? or i should say are they on my files, and i havnt properly unlocked them yet, or do i need to somehow sepratly rip the subs..well if anybody can help...thanks in advance!

As far as DOgma..........try opening it in your DVD software first to unlock the drive. "out of bounds" error really doesn't ring a bell, but make sure the drive is unlocked by opening and starting the movie, shut down your player, then try to rip it.

As far as Star Wars..the alien "subtitles" should be built inot the movie on the main track and you shouldn't need to specify for them. Rip the vobs then scan through them with dvd2avi to make sure they're in there, then encode...

  3. the drive is unlocked, sorry i shoudlve made myself more clear, whats happening is its reading a BUNCH of files in the initial smart ripper scan.then the project out of bounds pop up screen comes up, and wont allow me to coninue using smart ripper in any way,... meaning i try again, same result, i watched the entire movie on the dvdrom to see if that had any change, and no such luck....as for the subs in the phantom menace, i put the 1st dvd into my drive, watched it it has the built in alien subs, but for some reason whenever i rip the the movie there are no subs there?
