    Thought this was an interesting title choice. What do you guys/gals think?

    I had read that it tied in with Radiers, making 1 and 4 "bookends" in the series.

    but isn't Temple of Doom really the "first" as it takes place prior to Raiders?

    That is correct - Temple of Doom is a prequel to Raiders. Temple happened in 1935, and Raider took place in 1936. But not that many people know that. Even most people that call themselves Indy fans don't know the correct order for Temple and Raiders.
