I am using a dvd cam to shoot short movies. Upon finishing the disc I finalized it on the camcorder. It should have 20 scenes on the disc but turn out only 1 scene(the first) can be seen. So I wondered where are the rest gone.
May be they are gone for good,I thought. I put the disc on to my computer and open Windows Explorer and lord and behold there is this VIDEO TS folder and in it there are VTS01 1 ,VTS01 2 VOB files. I clicked on these and see all the videos are playing. Great.
So I used CopyToDvd tried to burn a dvd out of it. It turn out again only the first scene is seen. The rest is not .I believe it has something to do with IFO file but how do I correct it? Anyone?

VirtualDubMod (and VirtualDubMpg2) will open mpg, but that's not what you want.
If you're certain the AR has changed from 16:9 to 4:3, patch it back to 16:9 with DVDPatcher. Then it's just a matter of authoring the mpg as Video DVD.

When I use Windows Media Player to play the mpg the AR did change to 4:3 and stayed that way.I can not drag to change the ratio. However, when I used Power DVD I was able to change the ratio to it's original form.So I'll settle for that.
Little is said with regard to VOB2MPG. There's no manual or instruction for it. I've found that it use much memory space than expected.I don't know if anyone experienced running out of memory while program is excecuting. -
That's strange.I have 1.5 GB physical. The program ran normally untill 85% then it slows right down to a snail pace. I've tried three times with identical results. The DVD-RW has only 1.4 GB capacity and is a small disc.
Anyways, thanks for everyone's response to my question.Have a good day!
