i currently have a cd-rw writer and a dvd rom drive installed in my computer. i have purchased a new dvd writer would it be advisable to remove any of the other drives if so which one.

there is a spare slot which would mean all three of the drives could fit but could three drives decrease performance of my computer?

    thank you

Personally , its aka the cd burner .

If your going to install more drives , you better consider upgrading the psu to above 450watts .

  3. I second that.

    Two reasons:
    1. Some PC games when copied will not play on a burner but will do fine on a Rom drive
    2. If you are into backing up your DVD collection I would rather use the cheaper DVD rom to decrypt then the writer.
Listen to me now and believe me later
