MPC DVD playback - I can only see half of the screen

Hi there,

I just noticed a problem with media player classic - when I play back certain DVD's for some reason half of the screen seems to be missing. The screen itself is centered ok but the screen only shows the left hand side and the middle of the video. I've tried changing the aspect ration and other things but nothing seems to work. It seems to happen with some dvd's and not others? Also the dvd plays with the full screen viewable in powerdvd but the quality isn't quite as good - I really want to be able to play all of my DVD's through MPC.

Can anyone help?

try updating your codecs with something like ffdshow

Thanks, I've updated the codecs with ffdshow but still no luck. Is there some setting within ffdshow I need to be tweaking?

I changed something in the Video Output settings at the bottom and that seems to have fixed it. Thanks a lot Philippz!
