need a easy to use subtitle program

Well I am having a issue with subtitles playing to ealy and etc. So i need to sync them to the movie. Well im a newbie so i need a easy to use program that does this. So anyone got a good idea of a good program that easy to use for this kind of issue?

And the video format involved ?

If its pc playback , a few programs include some function to adjust the timing of subtitle playback ... I thought there was a mention of vlc and media player classic being able to apply these adjustments .

If its need's realignment and resync , you'll need to demux the streams and remux after the adjustments have been applied .

Subtitle tools : Subtitle Workshop , VisualSubSync

You may require : VobSub , VSFilter / DirectVobSub

As for "ease" , that will depend on the amount of work required to resync / realign subtitles .
