(Yes, I got permission to repost this w/o the offending info)
I'm getting this with several files I'm trying to extract the audio from in full processing mode in VirtualDubMod. They're all XviD AVIs with VBR MP3 (average 128 kbps) audio. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I want to be able to do good conversions to DVD w/ TMPGEnc & DGPulldown instead of using an all-in-one suite like Nero Recode, but this throws a wrench into those plans.
Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks!

Try using VirtualDub Mp3 Freeze. It's designed to handle VBR audio. Avidemux works very well too.

Installing LAME ACM and trying VirtualDub MP3 Freeze didn't work, but AVIDemux did. I saved the stream in an MP3 container, but the headers were messed up, so I ran the MP3 through VBRFix, and then took *that* MP3 and decompressed it to LPCM WAV in WinLAME.
Thanks for the suggestions
