    Hi,

I have created two NTSC DVDs from two parts of the movie with ConvertXtoDVD. Both parts are avi files.

I need to join two DVDs into one. I can join them with regular joining in DVD2One but I need seemless.

I can open the first DVD in DVD2One but once I try open the second one with the "Seemless" option, I get error message: "The selected folder (folder path) does not contain a valid DVD-video fileset that can be joined"

I tried to open the second DVD in DVDShrink and other programs and it is just fine.

What's wrong? How can I fix it? Thank you!

I don't know why it wont work with dvd2one. Maybe you could try fixvts and see if it helps.

But why don't you add boths avis in convertxtodvd and convert to one dvd directly?

    Thank you, Baldrick!

I used fixvts to clean both DVDs before trying to join them.

"why don't you add boths avis in convertxtodvd and convert to one dvd directly?' - Honestly I did not know about the option. I will try it, for sure but still would like to fix the problem if possible.

    Hi, Baldrick,

I tried the option - to convert 2 AVIs at once but it looks like it did not work. I've got two DVDs in one folder.

There are two sets of BUPs, IFOs and so on. VOBs have different names like 1.. for the first set and 2... for the second.

May be I did not choose right settings but I browsed everything before hitting button "Convert".

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

ConvertXtoDVD will not join two files into a single title. It will create two titles.

Personally, I would try joining the two files in AVIDemux first, then creating the DVD. This has worked several times for me in the past.

Other seamless options include authoring in TDA and putting both videos on the same track. A little jiggling of the chapter points may be necessary at the join for seamless playback.

    Hi guns1inger,

Trust you are doing fine. It was a long time....

"authoring in TDA" - I know about the option and I use TDA but I could never understand the "chapter points" that's why I finally ended up with DVDtoOne. It worked perfectly well but now.....

    Thanks anyway.
