  1. I have not been able to convert my mjpeg avi into a working vcd and have heard of other people having the same problem with tmpegenc but I don't want to move to a different program so what am I doing wrong to get this error.

    "video bitrate and system clock reference has errors"

    one question I have but am unable to test right know isthat I use 2 pass VBR could that be the problem

  2. You know, I have never had any problems (I too prefer MJEG to Huffy..) Tell me your exact process and I'll see what I can do.

    2 pass vbr would be for an SVCD, so I am unsure if you're making a vcd or svcd.

    If it will not open the file, go to your ENVIRONMETAL SETTINGS (on main TMPG interface it is under OPTIONS) and go to your modules, UP the PRIORITY on your DirectSHow Filter in TMPG. This filter is responsible for reading mpeg, avi, etc clips. This may help you out.

  4. It turns out the problem was the vbr I turned it off and it works fine now

  5. If you were trying to create a standard compliant VCD then the VBR was definately the problem. VCD use a CBR, just use the VCD template and tweak from there.
