ok hes my problem i have these anime videos that are converted in matroska codec and aac audio
they have dual audio files and a subttitle file
im trying to convert them to mpeg1 or vcd but i cant convert them because of the audio codec it says cant be resampled and whe ni tried with extracting and multiplexing the video and audio dont match
i used winavi to convert it to mpeg1 it worked fine but it only picked up the 1st audio file whihc is the japanese audio i would of been happy if it picked up the english audio but it didnt then i tried total video converter which lets you choose what audio file you want to keep and you can only keep one but it wont let me convert the file because it cant resample
ive tried almost every converter and extractor
i used MKVextractGUI to extract all the files within the video file
and i used virtualdubmod to multiplex but it wont pick up the codec aac then i tried using the total video converter but nothing works
i tried using a audio converter to convert the aac audio file to mp3 ac3 acm but when i multiplex the video and audio dont match
well any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

    WinAVI is vile, vomitous crap.

Install the Haali Splitter, if you haven't. Then install avisynth 2.5.8 alpha.

Finally, install FAVC. Use the HCEnc encoder and the medium or high settings.

Yes, it will take a lot longer than WinAVI, but, and here is the important thing, it will work, and the quality will be twice what WinAVI could ever dream of producing.
