  1. HMm, I would like to get my mpegs and avis to dvd with dvdit-PE 2.5
I got the hang of it ok, but why O why does it keep demuxing the sound out of my mpegs, I get them in the button and it all looks nice, but when I write the disk, it says demuxing audio, I want it all to go in together,
    Why is this please?

And am I right in thinking that I have to drop the audio in separetly, say
wav and m2v file, in the same button? if so this is a bit weak of the software, ANd when I do this the sound becomes out of sinc with the video, on playback.
its fine if I put the sound in as ac3 format, but it cant write with that ac3 format, Ither this program is a bit green, or I am, No doubt it is me.
Man!! it cost me a fortune for this dissapointing result

    Thx for reading my woes

  2. Using TMPEG
I usually run simple demux to seperate files as mpv and mp2
and then output to wav file
And you import the mpv and wav files only into the proggie and it will take it without problems.
It generally wants wav file with 192 Birate , 48khz pcm which will be made automatically by TMPEG when you run output to file from the file tab on the left
Questions, let me know and I will be glad to help

  3. It's becouse Sonic DVDit PE are using wav. You have to demux all the mpegs and convert the sound to wav 48khz.

  4. I done the wav bit thx Jestorius, I done all as below, its the syn I got probs with, not the file format's

    DVDit!! ver:2.5
OK, I have ripped my dvd to my hard-drive with smartripper,
I did it in such a way as to get an m2v video and an ac3 audio
I know dvdit cant read ac3 files, so I followed a tutorial as to change it to a wave file with ac3decgui.exe, all went fine,
I droped the m2v in to a button on dvdit and also droped the wav file in the same button, and played it back, it play's fine, only problem is the audio is slightly out of sinc with the video, ??? I tried 3 diffrent dvds and
get the same problem, I thought dvdit was the kiddie, untill now, Or am I doing it all wrong.
It seems a very fast way of doing thing,s and my dvds even work on my ps2 now, but its the sound thing that makes it all go up in flames,,

or is there a much easier way to do this??

Thx ntserver545 I wish tmpeg could open the original vobs and extract the m2v and ac3 as a wav in one synncronised Hit..

Can you check if the mpeg and the wav has the same time, SMTP xx.xx.xx.xx at the end.

  7. Thx for helping me, But excuse me for being thick but I dont know what you mean or how to check SMTP xx.xx.xx.xx at the end.

Please advise, and maybe gimme a few settings you use, say for burning a dvd to dvdr, If you dont mind, using dvdit of course to make the final disk

    Thx

  9. Doh!! See what you mean now

Yes, I got them out with smartripper, then just tried to get em together in a button on dvdit, realised after a few errors that it wernt having the ac3 cos it had to many channels or sumit, then used ac3decoder to convert the ac3 to wav, I cant see how it would be of a diffrent lengh,

How would you do this JOB please?

  10. Ok, I newer tried what you have down.

I'm using a Pinnacle DV500. It has a hardware accelerated mpeg2 export. The last ver. of the driver made a user data spike at de end of the stream. I hade to get it of with BitrateViewer. After the process I ended up with a Mpg2 and a Wav wich had a different length. I hade noticeble sync problem during authoring but newer on the finished disc.

Download from www.tecoltd.com the bitrate software and examine the mpg2 stream.

    I can only guessing. Sorry.
