Is it possible to convert "analogue" avi to DV avi?

Good day. I would like to use Pinnacle Express to make my VCDs, but it only accepts input of DV avi files. My capture device is analogue. Is it possible to convert analogue to DV?

Alternately, I can create avi's with an older version of ULead. I can set my own parameters when I render the files. What are the parameters of a DV avi?

I would edit the file in whatever AVI format you have it (cutting, titles, etc) and then render directly to a VCD compatible format (using TMPGenc). Converting to DV is kind of a waste and will take extra time for a lower quality result.

If you are set on converting, just get a newer version of ULEAD and save the file to DV format.
