    Philips DVD 612 won't play MP3 discs and never will (622 does, I have one).

    Under this link http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDname=DVD612&Submit=Search&Search=Search&list=0 write, that DVD612 (but not all) play MP3. What it means?

    Strange. Seems like Philips has changed some hardware inside this player to get it to play MP3. So maybe some versions of this player can play MP3 after all, although Philips haven't documented it
