I need help! My system can't play MPEG1 video files. I'm not sure which decoder windows media player uses (is there any way to find out which video decoder/codec a program is using?) but the video freezes. There is some audio, until the video freezes and then both freezes.
Somehow, Media Player Classic is able to play MPEG1 video files just fine. But Windows Media Player and other programs (games) cannot!
I need to fix my system so that it uses the correct MPEG1 video decoder on default so it doesn't crash my game when it tries to load MPEG1 videos for cinematics. I only have FFdshow and Media Player classic (just the player, no extra codecs or codec pack) plus whatever default codecs there are from windows and wmplayer.
Please help!
Try DVDFab Video Downloader and rip Netflix video! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
