    I'm looking to download the h.264/avc decoder. Does anyone have a link to it?

    Don't know if ffdshow counts as "the decoder". At any rate there are others. CoreAVC, MainConcept, Intervideo, Cyberlink, NeroDigital, etc.

    ffdshow keeps telling me that the decoder is missing, so I was hoping I'd be able to download and install it.

    I'll look into uninstalling ffdshow and reinstalling it. if it comes with ffdshow, the fle somehow must've gotten lost/ruined.

    I just checked and h.264/avc is part of SandraLite, as is ffdshow. I'm going to uninstall SandraLite and reinstall it . . . no sense having part of it still with SandraLite and an entire new ffdshow. My pc is confused enough as it is.

    ffdshow's AVC decoding is via libavcodec. libavcodec is used to decode most of the formats it supports.
