I received a Plextor PX-760A as gift. Does anyone have an opinion on how this writer compares to a Pioneer 112? I have always had very good results with Pioneer writers. Now that I own a Plextor writer that I didn't anticipate, I wonder how it stacks up.

There's lots of comments on that 760 drive at the PLEXTOR FORUM at Cdfreaks.com. From what I remember the 760 drive is the last real PLEXTOR drive. PLEXTOR no longer manufactures theirdrives. They are now rebadged as I think NEC/SONY and even LITEON.
