I just converted my first .vob file to .vob.dpg. I used all the dafault settings for video and audio for a conversion to Nintendo DS. However when i play the dpg via moonshell i get French audio instead of English. I previewed the .vob in SUPER with the default audio language and got English, i also previewed with audio language =1 and got English, i previewed with audio language = 2 and got French. When i finally did the encoding i set the audio language to default.

    1) why did i get French,

    2) i will try and rip the dvd to a vob with only English and try again but can i change the language in moonshell???

did you RIP the dvd to the HD, or just copy the vobs

the langauge switch is part of the copy protection

you must rip with a ripping program which decrypts and deprotects, then convert the format

try ripit4me or dvdfab to rip the movie, then convert it

I ripped the DVD using AnyDVD and DVDShrink and saved the vobs to my harddrive. What i think i may have done was during the re-author by DVDShrink i may not have excluded the "other" languages. But still it should still have english audio. Why does the SUPER converted vob.dpg play with French audio.

I would open the files in Shrink, kill all but the english audio and write a new set for conversion.
