I have a .mov file that is around 85mb and would like to shrink the size in half or maybe smaller, how do I go about doing this?

Do I need a special program?

I just want to upload the Video to YouTube.

I'll assume that the video, at that file size, is 640 x 480?
or at least larger than 352 x 240 in ratio?
if so, then STF for my recent post on making Youtube video.

MPEG Streamclip will provide you with feedback on the expected file size when you click the "limit bitrate" checkbox. Encode to H264 which is in the "Export to MP4..." dialog.
