Previously for converting AVI's to DVD format, I'd use DIKO and then open the .mpv and .mpa files into DVD-Lab Pro and author the DVD using that. However this time I went to compile the DVD in DVD-Lab Pro and I got an error saying "Can't find AC3 audio frame header" so I'm assuming the audio is some how messed up. So I was going to try to extract the audio using something else, but I have no idea what would work well. Any suggestions? Also, what do you think might be causing the issue?

Also, this isn't related to my problem exactly, but I don't really like DIKO too much. So anyhing else you guys can recommend where I can input multiple AVI video files and get an output of .mpv and .mpa files that I can then load into DVD-lab Pro. Because I do really like using DVD-lab Pro, just not DIKO.

    Thanks in advance!

EDIT - BTW, this is exactly what DVD-Lab shows me...

Try this - it'll create a 5.1 upmixed AC3 out of the Mp3 track in your AVI file

    (note - install avisynth )

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Hopefully it'll work. Unfortunately, I'm not even sure if that's the problem. I'm just assuming it is. Since it says there's an error after title 3, I'm assuming that there's a problem with the audio for that specific title. So I'll try that script for that video and see if it solves my problem.

You could try running the offending AC3 file through AC3fix to see if it can repair it.
