Hey guys, I am looking to upgrade my Monitor. I am thinking about the Acer 22" Widescreen. Most good things I have read. I want it clear and as close to HD quality as possible.

I got a badass Nvidia 512MB Geforce Card with DVI and vga.

    Any thoughts would be appreciate.

My suggestion is to buy a LCD monitor from your local OFFICE DEPOT, COMPUSA, BEST BUY, OFFICE MAX or STAPLES. If the LCD monitor is defective or you don't like the resolution you can always return it to the store. If you order from a online site they may have a dead pixel policy. Some online sites have a 8 dead pixel policy which means the LCD monitor has to have 8 dead pixels before a replacement can be made. Just my 2 cents!

One caveat, it appears to lack HDCP and thus will not play well with protected HD/BD DVD or other HD toys should Sony and the boys enforce it some day.

The 22" Samsung 226BW that I just bought displays 720p when plugged directly into the HD Motorola cable box. It even auto scales 1280x720 to 1650x1050 with minimal overscan.

My Viewsonic LCD monitor w/o HDCP is rejected by the cable box. It displays HDCP error. The monitor reviews often skip any mention of HDCP. It will become a big deal.
