Has anyone used or heard of any user reviews out there for Canopus Firecoder?

I'm currently capturing to AVI using Canopus ADVC-110 to WinDV, editing using Sony Movie Studio, and converting to MPEG with Canopus ProCoder Express.

I want to take the burden of my system by encoding with a dedicated hardware card and wanted some user opinions on the card itself and the quality of the encodes.
