i tried to load a svcd mpg file in tmpgenc to edit it, but it wouldn't load it up. it acted as though i didn't have the right svcd codec installed, even though i have both powerdvd and windvd installed.
why would this be happening?[/b]

so... using this M2V VFP, TMPGEnc will able to load M2V files (even though its supposed to already if you installed PowerDVD/WinDVD cause the DirectShow Filter or such would kick in...)
anyways, an alternative way is to use DVD2AVI, load the M2V file, save the project, then use TMPGEnc to open the project file.
