    Hi,

I bought from Aldi the TDVD08 DVD Player. It does play from a 256MB USB Key, but not from a 4GB Key. The 4GB key is brand Exigo. When inserted into the USB slot, it alternates between flashing multiple times rapidly, and one slow. The key works OK on a PC. I have re-formatted the key several times. When attempting to access the key on the player, I get a "cannot do at this time....." message.

    Any ideas?

Likewise, same problem, with same light flashing, from a 1GB generic usb drive. Chances are it just likes some and doesn't like others.

Since my last post I confirmed that the 4GB key works on different PCs and a USB radio. The DVD player reads and SD Card (via an adapter), and a USB Hard Disk. It is definitely a compatability issue. I posted the questions to the distributors, but I doubt if there is a solution.

Are they formatted correctly? Some players will only read FAT32 formatted devices.

Yes, Krispy - FAT32. I don't think they can be formatted as anything else. I formatted the key several times now.

My only other thought would be your USB drivers and/or support (ie. v1 or v2 USB).
