    I'm using CamStudio to record screen activity, and the resulting .avi looks great in the player that comes with CamStudio. But when I view it in Win Media Player it looks fuzzy. Downloaded and installed the CamStudio codec separately and have tried numerous screen resolutions without success. Any idea what the problem is?

    try playing the file in mediaplayerclassic or vlc. They have internal codecs and may work better.
