    Hi,
I have been using TmpGenc ver 1.6 for some time now and find it does a superb job of authoring a basic DVD with main menu and chapter menus.
However, I have a need to produce a next generation multi level DVD with a 'first' level that then points to the second level main with additional chapter menus if required, rather like more complex 'pro' DVD.
Can anyone suggest a reliable program that offers this, together with the latest format options etc.

Pretty much anything at the next level up will do it.

    DVD Lab Studio or Pro
    DVD Architect Studio
    DVD WorkShop

Are all capable, but they tend to cost $$$

GUIForDVDAuthor will also do this, and for free.

However once you start using these programs, you have to think and plan ahead. They are not template driven in the same way the beginner - intermediate programs are, so you need to have an understanding of what you want to achieve when you sit down to start creating.

Many thanks again. Cost is an issue but not necessarily for a prog that actually works.
    I'll research all suggestions.
You all have a very nice day .

What do you mean by the latest format options -- HD-DVD and/or Blu-ray

    Regards,

I was really just thinking about 16-9 or 4.3 options. I would probably continue to do all the film authoring on Pinnacle Studio. I just want to delve into more involved menu creation.
I have been playing with the DVDLabpro trial following above suggestions. It seems to have all the options I need.. once I have learned to drive it.
Any other suggestions that use a more intuitive approach would be welcome though.
