    Could I install any codec to play rm files thru vlc. it does play thru classic media player but
    I use vlc to play all video files and kind of addicted to it.

    The KM Player will play everything that vlc plays+ rm files. Drawback, it is cpu intensive.
    vlc uses its own codecs only.
