I have a copy of Ulead's DVD Movie Factory 3 on another computer, but not this one. The HDD on this computer is not big enough to put DMF3 on it, with all the other stuff i have on this HDD. Does anyone know a simple piece of software that will convert an mpeg2 movie file to DVD files, so i don't have to take this mammoth 4gb file and somehow transfer it to the other computer? thanks

Rejig. Simple, one feature, no menu, about 1 MB.

But you'll need at least 4 GB of free space to author regardless.

Demux to make m2v and AC3: 4 GB
(At this point you could delete your original MPEG if you feel brave, you can recreate it by muxing if you need it.)
Author, creating VOB files: 4+ GB.

Otherwise, burn a data DVD and transfer the MPEG that way.

I don't think there is anything that can author and stream directly to a DVD without using large temporary files, if that's what you wanted.
