  1. was trying to convert a divX movie to mpg with TMPGEnc 2.02 (the last one) so I could watch it on my DVD and all I've got was sound and a black screen, I couldn't have done anything wrong....I think it's just that because the file I was trying to convert is compressed to much....cause usually a movie takes about 600-700 Mb in divX, this one was only 300 Mb...
what do I do to make tmpgenc convert movies like that...?
    please help guys !!!!!

well there are a few things that could be causing it. Does media player play the file? You may need another codec, some movies use a proprietory codec such as smr. Do you have the latest divx codec?
It really does sound more like you need a codec.

  3. No Media Player doesn't play it, it does put can hear only the sound...non of the players have it play it. have both divXs 3 and 4 and I convert other divx movie to mpg and they work perfectly
I just noticed that the movie that I can't convert is in 20 fps (frame per second) and the ones I converted before without problems is in 29 fps
