Ive had AVG Ver. 7.5 476 for a while now but yesterday when I turned my laptop on AVG was very slow starting up and when it did finally start it had a few errors.

I thought it would be ok today but it isn't, what can I do?

Try to reinstall using the repair installation option.

Empty the virus vault ... First ... you have crap there .

Same thing happened two weeks ago .

    Download the latest package .
    Reboot into safemode .
    Login as admin .
Run installer , select "uninstall" of non-functional version .
Reboot into safe mode once more .
    Login as admin .
    Install updated version .
    Reboot .

Run full system scan ... delete any placed in virus vault .
Once up and running , you may need to disable system restore to guarantee none have made it into system restore point .
Reboot , and reset new system restore point .
