    Is there any software out there that will allow me to copy Mpg2 files to
    a CD-r/rw for playback on a DVD player? I'd like the files to play as dvd as opposed to vcd.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    yea..its called SVCD

    check the vcdhelp column to the left for svcd and how to's


    make sure your standalone dvd player can play it tho
