BIG problems with subtitles!!!!

I have a question. I downloaded the subtitles and a movie, but when I mix them all together just the fist chapters work and then in the chapters that doesn´t work it begins again all the subtitles.

I am using Total Video2DVD Author and for the subtitles i am using Subtitles workshop.

And the movie that i downloaded was in two separated .avi so when i put them in the total video software it encondes great. but when i put the subtitles is like the srt file doesn´t reconized that the second files starts like in 56 minutes and it start again with the starting point of the subtitles.

Anyone know what is wrong???

Well, yes. You have two movies and one subtitle. This will not work.

Either join the movies first, then add the subtitles, or split the subs into two files, obviously re-setting the start and end times on the second half.
