Adding text in Nero Vision?

i have been trying to burn a avi file in Nero vision and wanted to add a option text but i don't know if its possible or how to do it.i tried to do it but i don't know what type of files it supports and even if i am doing it right. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Me thinks you have to be a little more specific.
Are you trying to create a Video DVD?
What do you mean by "option text"? Something in the menu, or what?

Sorry about not being to specific. yea I'm trying to create a video DVD. When i add in the video and click edit these a place where u can add optional audio and text. I know how the audio works and can add the audio but i can't add any text. So.... yea that about it.

I don't use Nero, but I suspect that's where you can add subtitles?
It probably accepts .srt subtitles.
