    I get DVDs from England in Pal format. I'm in NTSC land. If I try to convert them to DivX the screen size is really small.
    I'm using Xilisoft DVDtoDivX convertor

    Use AutoGK or FairUSe Wizard instead.

    O.K. I have AutoGK.
    I tried to convert a PAL file from DVD.
    It was successful, but I had 3 files. One was a complete avi in DivX of the complete program. Then I had 2 more files that looked like VCD files for CD which was the program split over the two CDs.
    What settings should I use to get the best quality for DivX?
