    Hey guys

when trying to transfer my music onto my iPod using iTunes it is very slow, i have over 2,000 song in my library and it havs taken ovet 1.5 hrs just to transfer 1000 songs. I transfer the data using the iPod USB cable that came with the player.

Is there any way i can speed this process up?

Are you plugged into a USB2 port ?
Is your iPod USB 2 or USB 1.x compatible ?

They sound like USB 1.x transfer speeds.

    That's why it is slow.

If you have extra ports that are apart from the others - on the side or on a back plane, try those. Otherwise you will just have to try them all until you don't get the message. If they are all USB1.1 then you will have to get a USB 2 PCI card to add the ports.
