I was wondering if anyone could tell me about ASPI layers. What are they, what do they do, and do I even need them? The reason I'm asking is because when ripping from DVDs using Smartripper, it always says something about not having ASPI layers, which makes me wonder because I was able to encode it and make an XVCD just fine. But the thing that brought me here was when I downloaded and opened TSCV. It gave a warning about not having any ASPI layers. I have Windows XP, so I know I don't have any. I'm trying to make menus and chapters for XVCDs, and I don't want to have any problems. So could someone please explain to me what ASPI layers are?
