I can't get avi2dvd to convert 2 avi files to one dvd. I have followed the guide in this forum "Basic Guide How to Convert AVI Files to DVD with Avi2DVD" and also re-read it over and over , made sure I rename the files to Test CD1.avi and Test CD2.avi
and after 7 hours of encoding and 3 trys, I still only end up with the first cd1 and not both of them. I tried winavi and didn't like the results but it did convert both files to one. I like the results of the of the first half of the files with avi2dvd. In the guide it states it will "D:\Movie, open the Test CD1.avi, and Avi2DVD will automatically load all the files for you. Is it loading cd1 and cd 2? How can you tell if both files are loaded before you start the job?

    thanks, I'm so confused

  2. First off, put both files in a folder all by themselves. Next name them very simply i.e. CD1.avi , and CD2.avi. Hopefully both files were from the same source & encoded the same way.
Now try it again. You can also try combing the two files together first using VirtualDub or AVIMux, and then loading them into AVI2DVD
