Unable to copy DVD

Hi all:
Dont know if this this the right place to post this:

I'm trying to copy a DVD from a friend.
I'm using ashampoo, but at more or less 80% I get a message saying that copy cannot
be made because of some corrupted vob file.

I tried to copy one by one the vob files but 2 of them can't be removed:
Message is something like: not possible because of data error " cyclic redudance error"

I get the same message when using DVDshrink !!!

Original DVD can be played till the end with no problems.

How can I make a copy of this DVD ???Can i fix the 2 problematic vob files.

Any sugestions ??

What dvd is it?

There must be a hundred topics on this sort of thing. You might search the forum first i fyou have the time.

1. Try cleaning the DVD with a clean towel or rag (center fo rim motion, not circular motion)

2. Try a different software tool like 1click or Clonedvd2. both not free but availabe as
download trial.
