I am converting a divx to mpeg 1 thru tmpgenc.when the movies done, tmpgenc seems to think that theres some 3 hours of blank screen on the end. in windows media, the divx stops where its meant to. ive tried 'cutting' the blank screen out, but the cutter doesn't have the blank screen either. also if i stop it during conversion, there is no audio. help is appreciated. cheers

See in the DVD ripping section, under Sefy's Newbie guide, under ENCODING with TMPG, as to how to use the SOURCE RANGE function in TMPG.
Reload your source clip, and through this function scroll through till the video stops and set your end point. THen re-encode.~~~Spidey~~~
