I can't for the life of me get these two clips color matched (see images below). So far I have dragged the color match effect to the clip I want to adjust and then selected samples for each of the color match areas in the source clip (the one on the left) and then applied them to their corresponding target areas in the blue-ish clip. However the result is what you see in the second image (look at the top right image - it's worse, now with a purplish tint).
Can anyone please advise on what I need to do to get these clips matched (right clip matched to the left)?

Yup. I've tried to eliminate that but that last little bit is a nightmare to correct. Anything I try now just seems to take it further away. It's a shame the tools in Premiere Pro CS3 for color correction aren't as good as those in Avid Liquid. I would have been able to get a match in a few minutes in Liquid.
In this case I am not running the two clips side by side and so they won't look too different to most people when viewed in the context of the video.
