Hi All,
I thought I'd ask here before the Firefox forums as I've done a search there and couldn't find anything - and trust you lot more than a bunch of strangers!
I'm trying to launch a streaming live radio station from www.xfm.co.uk (the London one - have a listen, it's an excellent station) from the latest Firefox and get this error message in a new window:
var listen_live_on = new Image(); listen_live_on.src = '../Skin/
MediaManagerPlayer error '800a005b'
Object variable or With block variable not set
/player/NonScripted/container.asp, line 23
Doing the exact same thing in IE6 is fine (always has been) - i.e. the new window opens OK and music is there, so it must be a browser issue. Any ideas how to fix it?
Cheers.

There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

can't say for sure, except that Firefox has just completed a 2.0.0.5 update, and on my machine disabled the Java console in Firefox.
here's the contact info for xfm London

they prob'ly would be your best source for fast help! -
What version of firefox are you using ?
I just tried and it works fine for me.
Listening to it right now
v2.0.0.5 -
@ ahhaa & Noahtuck: Hmm... I'm on v2.0.0.5 too.
Emailing Xfm was my first port of call - and no reply, still not working.
I disabled the "No Script" add-on (v1.1.6.02 - blocks java, unless I allow it), closed and re-opened FF and still the same. There's an option in "No Script" to play a sound when it blocks java - with this enabled there's no sounds when the pop-up window opens.
UPDATE: Here's what I did to get it working:
* In Tools -> Options -> Privacy tab: added mediaweb.musicradio.com as "Allowed" in "Exceptions" list for cookies.
Thanks for confirming it works for you, it spurred me on to figure out how.
Cheers, Daamon.

A bit more info that might be of use...
In IE6 the pop-up window contains the volume and mute controls:
But in Firefox it doesn't:
However, in Firefox right-clicking on the black horizontal bar where the changing text and time appears gives you Play, Stop and Volume (Up, Down and Mute). There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
