  1. i have got blach hawk down in avi format, i got it encoded in to mpeg with panasonic mpeg prog. i then downloaded nero 5.5.5 so i can make a vcd

    problem number 1
    file 2 will fit on to a cd but part 1 wont, i have read that u can fit 800meg on a 80 min cd by over burning it, ok so what setting do i need to get it to be big enought???

    problem number 2
    i made a vcd with part 2 burned fine, but i cant seem to get it to play even in my pc. why is this???

    In VCD format you can fit approx. 78 minutes of Video on 1 800 meg (or more importantly 80 minute cdr).

    Is part 1 longer than 80 minutes in duration ? If so . you'll have to either cut the mpg, or re-encode it to the proper durations.

    See in the DVD ripping section, under Sefy's Newbie guide, under ENCODING with TMPG, as to how to use the SOURCE RANGE function in TMPG.
