Lets say I have a DVD which has PAL tags in the IFO files.
I can use IFOEditor to change those tags to NTSC one by one.
But for too many ifo files this is very time consuming. What other
utils are there that i can use to change all those tags automatically.
So every PAL tag that it finds it should change to NTSC.

    thanks

Are you also going to change all the resolution information and anything else affected by the format change ?

I don't know of anything specific to IFO files, however an IFO fie is just a text file, so any batch text editor should be able to do it. In a LINUX or UNIX world you could use SED or NAWK or similar. I'm sure you could also script something in PERL for Windows.

No nothing else is changed just the tags. I found that that's all i need to change and it plays just fine in all the dvd players i tried it in. I do use Windows. Don't know a thing about PERL or scripting though. Any utility for windows to replace one thing for another in multiple files/

    thanks a bunch for responding

update:just tried opening the ifos with notepad and msword. All I can see is a bunch of gibberish.
